Freya French
Freya French

I completed my massage therapy training at mount royal university in 2012, my style is deep, therapeutic and rhythmic. Individualize treatments day to day, person to person. I have both clinical and spa experience, my approach to massage is deep, intuitive and smooth. My goal in treatment is to address apparent and underlying issues, create balance and reduce stress. When I’m not massaging, you can find me climbing all the things, paddling on boards or running up and down mountains.

I became a massage therapist to interact with people on a healing level, I wanted the opportunity to learn peoples’ stories through their physical being. I am fascinated with what our bodies are capable of and how far we can take them, and even more so how we can heal through touch therapy and active recovery.

Having been a competitive gymnast I am passionate about learning how our bodies move, function, and recover. I am currently furthering and applying my knowledge at Jasper Physiotherapy, while enjoying everything Jasper has to offer.

Sean FitzGerald
Sean FitzGerald
MScPT CAFCI

Hi, I’m Sean. I have been the owner of Jasper Physiotherapy & Health Centre since 2009. I initially earned a BSc in Animal Biology from the University of Alberta in 2002 before I came back to the University of Alberta to finish my MSc in Physiotherapy in 2007. In between those degrees I spent some time upgrading, travelling and playing basketball overseas.

After graduating from my physiotherapy program I took expanded coursework in acupuncture and manual therapy. I was certified in medical acupuncture in 2010 and advanced manual and manipulative therapy in 2012. Once these courses were finished I decided to do something a little different to grow professionally and transitioned into the role of President of Physiotherapy Alberta, which acts as both our college and professional body. Over the years I have also taken coursework in order to do bike fittings and run assessments to better serve our very active community. The latest coursework I finished was in vestibular disorders as well as concussion evaluation and treatment which I have been very excited to utilize.

Over the years my practice has changed as my knowledge and experience has grown. I love this community and really enjoy spending time with my patients and strive to help them achieve their rehabilitation goals. I spend a lot of time with my family and in the outdoors climbing and biking so I look forward to getting people back outside doing the things they love with the people they love.

Administration and Client Care

I joined the crew at Jasper Physio in 2016 after retiring my graphic design company; the clinic’s positive atmosphere and busy schedule served as the key lures. Organization, empathy, enthusiasm and a continued desire to learn are some of the hard-wired qualities I am proud to apply to my administration position. Jasper has been my home since 1981, my children were born and raised here. History, cooking from scratch, growing food and flora, hiking, skiing, biking, reading and the NYT crossword feature highest on my list of personal interests.
