Ivanna is a licensed physiotherapist and a graduate of the Master of Science in Physical Therapy program from the University of Alberta. Ivanna believes in the importance of taking the time to help you understand your injury, learn body awareness, and build confidence in moving. She is passionate about empowering you to overcome your injury through education and exercise.
As a BCRPA certified fitness instructor who has taught yoga, aquafit, TRX, senior fitness, and bootcamp, as well as having formerly worked as a kindergarten to grade 12 teacher, Ivanna has experience teaching fitness to all ages and learning styles. Most recently, Ivanna has worked as an acute care physiotherapist with Alberta Health Services.
As a child, Ivanna was afraid of sports and always had a hard time in PE class, and it was only during her time at university that she discovered her love for fitness and the outdoors. She came to realize that with the right instruction everyone, including her, has the potential to achieve more than they might believe possible. Ivanna’s background provides a unique perspective that enables her to provide a non-judgmental approach to physical therapy, and she will meet you wherever you are — whether you are a competitive athlete, an outdoors adventurer, or completely new to exercise.
