Zuzanna graduated from the University of Toronto with a Bachelors in Kinesiology and has her own global health and wellness business. Her degree enables her to work in partnership with the physiotherapists to tailor therapeutic and rehabilitative exercise programs for each client. Zuzanna also provides one on one exercise program development and training. She operates modalities including ultrasound, interferential current and muscle stimulation under the direction of the physiotherapists to aide patients in their recovery. Zuzanna has been living in Jasper since 2009 and is passionate about helping others stay active. She loves to snowboard, ski and mountain bike, trail run and hike and enjoys camping and traveling.
Sarah graduated from the University of Alberta in 2013 with her Masters in Physiotherapy and holds a bachelors degree in Kinesiology from California State University at Fullerton. Her main area of clinical practice has been in orthopedics and sports injuries. Sarah aspires to obtain certification in acupuncture as well as advanced manual and manipulative therapy. Her passion lies in helping people return to their activities after injury and gain a fuller understanding about their body. Sarah enjoys trail running, yoga, hiking, travelling, and dance.
Sean graduated from the University of Alberta with his Master's in Physical Therapy in 2008 and was awarded a number of academic scholarships during his studies. He has been practicing in several areas since his graduation but is primarily focused on orthopaedics, sports injuries and pediatrics. Sean is currently certified in acupuncture and is able to perform joint manipulations and adjustments. One of Sean's main interests in physical therapy is the assessment and treatment of runners and has had the opportunity to train under a consultant for the national track and field team of Canada. He is Serrota and F.I.S.T certified to perform road, mountain and triathlon bike fittings and hopes to continue to expand his knowledge base in these areas.
Louise graduated in 1991 from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy. She has worked in many different environments from Hawaii to Whistler and has had the opportunity to work with the Canadian National Alpine Ski Team. She has taken courses in Acupuncture, is a Registered Part A manual therapist and has trained under Diane Lee and Lynn Watson. Louise will also be completing her IMS coursework in November of 2010. Louise was a member of the Canadian Alpine Ski Team for 3 seasons, and enjoys hiking, kayaking, and mountain biking in the Jasper area.
Anna has been a Registered Massage Therapist (2200hrs) with the Natural Health Practitioners of Canada since 2009. Holding a degree in Kinesiology from the University of Alberta and a background as a personal trainer, Anna is interested in the therapeutic aspects of Massage Therapy. Anna also works as an instructor of Remedial Massage Therapy at MH Vicars School of Massage Therapy in Edmonton. She has taken additional coursework in Jaw Dysfunction (TMJD), Myofascial Cupping, Low Back & Hip Dysfunction, Reiki, Reflexology, as well as massage courses in New Zealand and Thailand. Anna enjoys travelling, yoga, hockey, snowboarding, moutain biking and pretty much anything active. She is eager and ready to assist you in your pursuit of health and wellness.
Agnes Sydeka graduated from the Professional Institute of Massage Therapy in 2010, there she learned standard therapeutic massage techniques. Since then she has studied Myofascial Decompression, slow and gentle stretching of the fascial tissue; it is great for releasing adhered muscles and treating musculosceletal conditions. Agnes has also studied Cranio-sacral Therapy, a therapy designed by osteopaths that helps with recovering from various head traumas such as concussions and whiplash, as well as depression, headaches and migraines. She has also taken energy workshops in Reiki and quantum touch that help to relax and balance the individual. In her practice Agnes treats each person as an individual and adapts her style to each person as everyone needs a different approach to their treatment.
